For this exhibition Thorns Ltd. collaborated with Norwegian artist Bjarne Melgaard the concept of a Surround 5.1 set up. The idea was to utilize the whole room for an audio experience focusing upon sonic coldness and violence. For this Melgaards installation was supplied with a 38 minute score divided into 13 chapters that played continuously during the exhibition.

The Dolby Surround sound-DVD is a limited edition on Bjarne Melgaards label Stabfrenzy. Digipak design and ink drawing by Halvor Bodin. Bjarne Melgaard customized the DVD with unique drawings for the exhibition. The Digipak was designed to be a “white canvas” with inside-out uncoated Digiapak-cardboard. This Thorns logo is based on a font by Claudia C. Sandor.

The typography for this DVD was later used by Håvard Gjelseth for the Thorns Ltd. limited edition double cassette package from their Santa Fe Biennial performance in 2006.
